Description
For Copenhagen Fashion Week 2024 a classic square scarf inspired by the storytelling of Hans Christian Andersen. “Thumbelina, Kindness” silk scarf depicted hand drawn imagery and watercolors by Christine of Thumbelina flying above House of Kerry aboard the swallow she cared for during the winter who in turn came back to save her. In a world full of upheaval, the story of kindness prevails in “Thumbelina”. Tulips and windmill appear reminiscent of the Danish landscape and the mountains are those surrounding the old farmhouse at House of Kerry, including the “Pap” mountains of the Goddess Anú, mother of the Tuatha Dé Danann ancient Irish peoples.
