Tír na nÓg silk scarf
This classic square silk scarf comes from the House of Kerry “Where the heart sings” collection. It is inspired by “TÍr na nÓg” the land of eternal youth in Celtic mythology and the legend of Óisin and Niamh Cinn Óir and the legendary white horse. The imagery portrayed in the scarf is from White Strand, Sneem on the Ring of Kerry.
The words “Truth Beauty Sustainability” are inscribed in the lower left hand corner. One could never tell from the fabulous imagery or on the day I captured it that we have incredible challenges facing us with climate change at our door. We can still aspire to this ideal of a beautiful earth by doing our own bit in our everyday lives!
